Please check under the navigator bar for your class folder and find your personal page.Please post a paragraph biography about yourself at the top of your page.

I have also posted a file that contains ideas for writing free verse poetry. Feel free to use these ideas to generate  your original poems. That file also contains the instructions for writing cinquains, haiku, tanka, and the other poems in your portfolio. The portfolio assignment for my class is there, too.

Ms. Alcorn's students: Copy and paste your original poetry onto your page. You may add photos of yourself and artwork if you want to get creative.Once you have written your "Where I am From" poem, I would like that to be the first poem on your page.

Also, post a one paragraph response on the Identity poem page about the use of extended metaphor and the theme.
